My New Beginning with StayQrious Neo School

Hello friends! Remember on my 8th birthday when I talked about changing schools? You might think I’m in a regular school now, but I’m not. My new school is online, and it’s not CBSE, but IGCSE.

We started this new journey with a trip to Bengaluru. We spent a week at the Veerdency Resort, which had delicious food. We enjoyed many activities like a treasure hunt, karaoke, 3D printing, and more. On the first day, I felt a bit shy, but by day two, we were busy with many activities. On the third day, we visited a museum and did pottery. By the fourth day, I had made many friends, though some left. On the fifth day, I missed my friends as I went back home.

After returning from the resort, our regular classes began. In class, we don’t just read or write; we learn by creating real-life projects! It’s just like a grown-up’s office, and we even have our own Gmail accounts. Plus, there’s no need to sacrifice sleep because classes start at 9:30. This also allows me start my day with morning yoga classes.

Our first project was about becoming a habit architect, where I learned how to build good habits. For our second project, instead of writing down boring math notes, we learned angles through Khan Academy and created exciting patterns with coding.

Let me tell you more exciting things about this new school. We have different rooms, not just one classroom. We call them stations, with names like Lobby, Enquiry, Creative, Team, Independent, and Checkpoint. Instead of teachers, we have coaches. Every two weeks, we have a one-on-one with our coach to clear doubts or just talk about our normal lives. The most fun thing is that we end our classes by playing video games. It is so fun! My father even doubts that I do classes or just have fun – ha, ha.

I love the classes, and the most exciting thing is that we will meet in person every few months at some exciting location.

As the school’s name suggests, stay curious. Bye!
