Once upon a time, there lived a man named Brucy. He was a plump, elderly man with short legs and arms. Despite his poverty, he was kindhearted and curious, always eager to help others. Brucy was on the lookout for a job when he stumbled upon a resort named Troop. The resort was very beautiful. There were colourful flowers, full of trees full of bushes, so, attracted to the beauty, He walked into the resort and boom, he was hired there as a cleaner.  

Brucy’s generosity was evident as he often shared his food with his fellow cleaners, even though he had little himself. One day, while cleaning the resort, Brucy discovered a passage he had never seen before. His curiosity led him to explore it, where he encountered a small door with strange markings. The nearby bushes started to shake by themselves, then to terrify him more, a dark black cat did a scary meow. Now Brucy was super-duper scared. Thinking that it was a haunted house, his hands started to tremble, and he fled in terror.  

Panicked, Brucy decided to call ghost investigators. He rushed to the reception, shouting, “THERE IS A HAUNTED HOUSE IN THIS RESORT! EVERYBODY RUN!” His outburst caused a commotion. The owner of the resort calmed down everyone and ordered Brucy to stop causing panic. Despite multiple warnings and punishments, Brucy continued to scare the guests nightly, leading to increased thrashes from the owner. 

Frustrated, the owner was about to fire Brucy when Brucy pleaded for one last chance to prove the haunted house’s existence. The owner reluctantly agreed. Brucy took the owner to the passage and showed him the door, where the black cat was sitting, and she again meowed in her scary tone. The owner also felt terrified and called for help. Brucy suggested contacting the ghost investigators, who quickly arrived at the scene. 

Upon investigation, the so-called haunted house was revealed to be nothing more than an old, stinky toilet. Enraged, the owner chased Brucy with a stick, and a chaotic scene unfolded on the main road. Eventually, the police intervened, arresting both Brucy and the owner. The ghost investigator, however, managed to escape. 

Thirty years later, Brucy and the owner were released from jail and disappeared from the country. The ghost investigator, now 50 years old, had a son who also followed the same profession and was a ghost investigator.  One day, the father remembered about the incident at the resort and was curious about the haunted house mystery. He asked his son to check the resort named Troop. The son complied and discovered a farm inside the resort. Upon sharing the news, his father laughed, explaining that a farmer had likely started using the empty resort land for farming. 

And so, the story of the haunted house ended with a chuckle, a reminder of Brucy’s misadventures and the mysteries that sometimes turn out to be simple misunderstandings.
